Generate your first document from Copper

Once your Copper workflow is set up, you can run it from inside any opportunity and the output is written back to that opportunity's files. This page covers running the workflow and finding the output.

Run the workflow

Open the opportunity in Copper. Your workflow appears in the Portant panel with a Start button next to it. Click Start:

Portant pulls data from the opportunity (and connected objects), creates the document, and writes the links into the activity feed and the Files section.

View the output

Open the Files section in the right-hand panel and click the dropdown to see the generated document:
